Ursula Burns, chair of telecommunications company VEON, gave the commencement address to 2018 graduating students of Georgetown University McDonough School of Business. Ms. Burns previously served as Xerox Corporation chair and CEO and is the first black woman to run a Fortune 500 company. She spoke about growing up poor in New York City public housing and overcoming obstacles as she ascended in the business world. close
