President Trump posthumously pardoned boxer Jack Johnson in a ceremony in the Oval Office. The first black heavyweight boxing champion was convicted in 1913 of violating the Mann Act for transporting a white woman across state lines. The president was flanked by actor Sylvester Stallone, boxers Lennox Lewis and Deontay Wilder, and Linda Haywood, Mr. Johnson’s great-great niece. close
