To mark the centennial of the July 14, 1918, death of Theodore Roosevelt’s youngest son Quentin, historian David Pietrusza discussed the Army aviator’s brief twenty years of life, his World War I service as an officer, and how his death affected his father. Mr. Pietrusza, who is the author of TR’s Last War: Theodore Roosevelt, the Great War, and a Journey of Triumph and Tragedy, also discussed the World War I service of Quentin’s three brothers.
