President Trump signed the Music Modernization Act into law, which ensures artists who released records prior to 1972 are paid royalties from digital services. Accompanying him were several musical artists, including John Rich, Kid Rock, and Michael Love. Several lawmakers were also on hand including Senators Orrin Hatch (R-UT), Chris Coons (D-DE), Chuck Grassley (R-IA), and Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI). close
