Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg delivered remarks at the National Archives to mark the 227th anniversary of the Bill of Rights. Before she spoke, the National Archives marked the anniversary by conducting a naturalization ceremony for 30 individuals from 26 countries as new U.S. citizens. The event took place in front of the original Declaration of Independence, U.S. Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. In order to preserve the documents, no additional lighting is allowed in the rotunda. close
