Sheri Johnson, the attorney for death row petitioner Curtis Flowers in Flowers v. Mississippi, spoke to reporters outside the Supreme Court after oral argument in the case. At issue were the methods and jury selection decisions of Mississippi District Attorney Prosecutor Doug Evans over the course of six trials related to a 1996 armed robbery in which four people were killed. Ms. Johnson said Mr. Evans' actions were unconstitutional examples of racial discrimination. close
