The House Judiciary Committee met to consider several motions to permit an additional hour of questioning, for both committee members and staff, for their May 2 hearing with Attorney General William Barr on the Mueller Report. The committee swiftly adopted the first motion by a voice vote. After a lengthy debate, the second motion was adopted on a 21-14 party line vote and allows an additional hour of question time for committee staff. close
