The conference committee heard testimony from congressional committee staff members on the details of the budget reconciliation bills recently passed by the House and Senate. The conference committee will craft a single piece of legislation from the two bills that will be reintroduced for House and Senate approval and the president’s signature. The committee staff members discussed tax initiatives in the legislation. close
