The Justice Department announced charges against a Russian national accused of hacking and bank fraud. Assistant Attorney General Brian Benczkowski of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division made the announcement, telling reporters the crime was “two of the worst computer hacking and bank fraud schemes of the past decade.” He was joined by other Justice and State Department officials and a representative from the U.K.'s National Crime Agency. Officials also announced a five million dollar reward for information leading to an arrest or conviction. Following their remarks on the case, they took questions from reporters. close
