Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker (R) held a briefing on the state’s response to the coronavirus pandemic. During this portion of the briefing, he discussed the guidelines for nursing homes and long-term care facilities, the medical supplies that had been recently delivered to health providers, and the importance of adhering to the social distancing guidelines put out out by the state in order to flatten the curve. The governor also answered questions from reporters about the increased funding for health care providers, nursing home and long-term care facilities, and expanding the capacity for COVID-19 testing. close
