NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine held a briefing one day before the second launch attempt of SpaceX’s Crew Dragon, the first manned space mission to launch from U.S. soil since 2011. The previous launch scheduled for earlier in the week was postponed due to poor weather conditions. Administrator Bridenstine said there was about a 50 percent chance of launching the next day, but that other dates were available should the weather conditions not hold. The deputy NASA administrator, Kennedy Space Center director, and two astronauts also joined the briefing. close
