Historian Mona Siegel talked about her book, Peace on Our Terms: The Global Battle for Women’s Rights After the First World War. The Sacramento State history professor argued that a great diversity of women from around the world pushed for greater rights in the wake of the horrors of the Great War. Professor Siegel also argued that some of these women who were attending the 1919-1920 Paris Peace Conference helped push President Woodrow Wilson to support the 19th amendment. The National World War I Museum and Memorial hosted this event and provided the video. close
