Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D) gave a briefing on the state’s response to the coronavirus pandemic. She warned Michiganders of rising cases and variant spread and called on high schools and youth sports to voluntarily go remote and suspend games for two weeks to allow the state to get the virus under control. She also said she was working on getting more vaccines to the state. close
