The Senate confirmed Samantha Power’s nomination to serve as administrator of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Members also voted to overturn a Trump administration Environmental Protection Agency rule, reinstating the Obama administration’s limits on methane emissions for oil/gas sector. This was the first time the Democratic majority used the Congressional Review Act to attempt to overturn a Trump administration rule. close
