Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi gave remarks at the United Nations General Assembly. He talked about China’s role in the global community and reunification with Taiwan. The foreign minister warned, “Any move to obstruct China’s reunification is bound to be crushed by the wheels of history.”
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov addressed the United Nations General Assembly. He voiced grievances against the United States and its Western allies, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), and the European Union. The foreign minister accused the West of “Russophobia” and said it wants to “destroy” and “fracture” Russia amid the Russia-Ukraine war.
