James Robbins, president of Cox Communications, spoke at the a meeting of the Washington Metropolitan Cable Club. After a video presentation, Mr. Robbins spoke about how his company dealt with the challenges facing the cable television industry. He outlined the Cox strategy for penetrating newly opened markets in telephone and high-speed data connections through telecommunications integration as a result of the deregulation of the Telecommunications Act of 1996. After his remarks, he took questions from the audience. close
