He spoke about the state of racism in the U.S. and the need to convince white people that the vestiges of racism and privilege are still very real to African-Americans. He also referred to President Clinton’s speech on race in San Diego and his upcoming book, Afrolantica Legacies, which will be published by Third World Press. close
