CR, pp. H10035-H10118. The House disagreed to the Senate amendment to the child abuse prevention bill, H.R. 1900, and asked for a conference. The bill also includes measures concerning adoption reform and family violence prevention. The House agreed to the conference report on H.R. 1451, which amends the Older Americans Act of 1974 to provide continued funding for support services and nutrition programs for the elderly. The House agreed to the conference report on H.R. 2112, to authorize appropriations for fiscal year 1988 for intelligence and intelligence-related activities for the federal government, the intelligence community staff, and the CIA retirement and disability system, clearing the measure for the Senate. The House agreed, with amendments, to the Senate amendments to H.R. 2672, to improve veterans' housing programs -- returning the measure to the Senate. close
