The European Cybercrime Centre is the body of the Police Office of the European Union , headquartered in The Hague, that coordinates cross-border law enforcement activities against computer crime and acts as a centre of technical expertise on the matter. It began with five experts, expanding to a staff of 40 in 2013, but is not expected to be fully functional until 2015. It was officially opened on 11 January 2013.
