National Association of Scholars

The National Association of Scholars is an American non-profit organization which describes itself as "a network of scholars and citizens united by our commitment to academic freedom, disinterested scholarship, and excellence in American higher education." The three hallmark demands of the NAS are 1) free speech on campuses for dissident political trends ; 2) a return to mid-20th-century curricular and scholarship norms; and 3) increase in conservative representation in faculty.
