David V. Aguilar was appointed the Deputy Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection on April 4, 2010. As the nation's highest ranking Border Patrol Agent, Chief Aguilar directed the enforcement efforts of more than 18,000 Border Patrol Agents nationwide.
