Herman Badillo

Herman Badillo was an American politician who has been a borough president of The Bronx, United States Representative, and candidate for Mayor of New York City. He was the first Puerto Rican to have been elected to the aforementioned posts, as well as having a been the first Puerto Rican mayoral candidate in a major city in the continental United States.
