Jamie Foster Brown is the owner and publisher of 'Sister 2 Sister' magazine, which was launched in September 1988. 'Newsweek' called it the "African-American version of 'People' magazine." As an entertainment journalist, she wrote a regular column in her magazine, called "Meow", and through it, Brown became the first nationally known black female gossip columnist. Wikipedia*
