John Hall

John Joseph Hall is an American musician and environmentalist and community activist. He was elected to the Ulster County Legislature in 1989 and to the Saugerties, New York, Board of Education in 1991, and he was the U.S. Representative for New York-19, serving from 2007 to 2011. Wikipedia*
