Joseph E. Schmitz

Joseph Edward Schmitz is an American lawyer, former inspector general of the United States Department of Defense and a former executive with Blackwater Worldwide. After working as a watchdog at the Pentagon for three and a half years, Schmitz left the defense department in September 2005 and was accused of poor leadership for preventing investigations into war contracts given to several George W. Bush administration officials and having conflicts of interest with lobbyists. Wikipedia*
