Kevin R. Constantine Gutzman is an American constitutional scholar, American historian, and Madison biographer who wrote 'Virginia's American Revolution: From Dominion to Republic, 1776–1840' and 'James Madison and the Making of America'. He is a professor of history at Western Connecticut State University. Gutzman published scholarly articles in peer-reviewed publications such as 'The Journal of Southern History', 'The Journal of the Early Republic', 'The Review of Politics', 'The Journal of the Historical Society', 'The Virginia Magazine of History and Biography', 'Continuity: A Journal of History', 'The Journal of Libertarian Studies', 'The Greek Orthodox Theological Review', and 'Essays in History'.
