Rick Stoddard is an anti-smoking activist who is mainly recognized for his 2001 SuperBowl commercial detailing his wife's death from lung cancer allegedly caused by cigarette smoking at the age of 46. Most Americans will remember this commercial for its proclamation 'I guess I never thought of 23 as middle aged.'
