Ted W. Lieu is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for California's 33rd congressional district since 2015. A member of the Democratic Party, he previously served as the California State Senator from the 28th district from 2011 to 2014, after being elected to fill the seat of deceased Senator Jenny Oropeza.
