The U.S. Senate was notified that the House will bring articles of impeach against President Trump to the Senate. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell then announced that the Senate would receive the articles on Thursday (12pm ET) and two hours later (2pm ET) will prepare for the trial by swearing in Chief Justice John Roberts, who will then swear in all Senators as jurors. Sen. McConnell said the trial will begin on Tuesday.
