The Israeli and Egyptian ambassadors discussed the status of the Middle East peace process. Ambassador Ben-Elissar said that Israel was ready to make more concessions in return for security which only Israel could judge. El Sayed stressed the need for reciprocity and for a commitment by the Netanyahu government to the Oslo peace treaty. They also took questions from the audience. This was part of the Anti-Defamation League annual leadership conference. Ambassador Ross' comments were not included due to technical difficulties. close
