A coalition of conservation groups and the great-grandson of President Theodore Roosevelt held a news conference to release a report protesting reductions in public land funding. They cited several examples of how public lands, including parks, forests and refuges, are consistently underfunded and how revenues generated from various uses of public lands are being used for purposes other than restoring and obtaining more public lands. close
