Mr. Hume talked about the peace accord referendum in Northern Ireland and the chances for its success with the people there. He and Mr. Malin met with supporters of the agreement which is designed to bring an end to thirty years of violence. Both encouraged a yes vote for the agreement. Following the statements by the party leaders, reporters had an opportunity to ask questions. close
