Thomas Sowell talked about his book Conquests and Cultures. The book describes the consequences of military conquest on the cultures of Britain, Africa, the peoples of Eastern Europe, and Native Americans. Mr. Sowell also talked about how different military conquests throughout history affect the way we live our contemporary lives. Following his presentation, Mr. Sowell answered questions from the audience. close
