President Clinton and others discussed the problems related to Social Security. They stated that there is no larger challenge in this country that to save Social Security for younger Americans. They encouraged leaders to listen to other people’s opinions, and sacrifice one’s own ideas for the common good. One proposed solution was to allow people to put three percent of their income into a personal savings account that would accumulate funds until their retirement. close
