Case Discussion

In the series of Supreme Court Review, Ruth Marcus, Supreme Court Reporter from The Washington Post discussed the results of various Court decisions, as well as her views from a journalist’s perspective. Among those topics covered were the Court’s recent decisions regarding death penalties, a decision striking down a Florida law requiring silence from grand jury participants, a suit concerning the clean air act (GMC v. U.S.), a question over whether state governors or the president have control over the National Guard (Perpich v. U.S.), and a case involving minority ownership in broadcasting.
