Democratic members argued that President Clinton’s decision to attack Iraq was a correct one. They accused the Republican membership of bitter partisanship following their decision to move on impeachment while the military was in harm’s way. Rep. Rangel also commented on the military action in Iraq and that he believes that the congress should not proceed in the impeachment process while the military action continues. close
