The Federal Courts Study Committee as established by Congress in 1988 and was given fifteen months to develop a long-range plan for the future of the federal judiciary, including its role workload and structure. The committee has held a series of public hearings around the country to hear from legal scholars and observers as well as judges and lawyers. Earlier today the panel released its final report. Guests give their analyses of recommendations in the report and answer viewer questions. close
