Undersecretary of State Thomas Pickering talked to reporters about diplomatic efforts which would be undertaken following military strikes against Iraq. He said that the U.S. would work with the Security Council to strip Iraq of its capability to build or deliver weapons of mass destruction. He also said that the U.S. reserved the right to use force again if need be. After his remarks he answered questions from the reporters. close
