Voices In The Wilderness Coordinator Rick McDowell said that the Treasury Department intended to fine his organization for violating the economic embargo on Iraq. He admitted to the violations and said they would continue to violate the embargo because they had brought toys and medicines to Iraqi citizens for humanitarian purposes. Other speakers then denounced the economic sanctions as unethical and cruel. After their remarks they answered questions from reporters. close
