Mr. Curry answered viewer questions concerning the first National Traffic Safety Summit. Law enforcement officials met in Chicago this week to discuss ways of improving safety on the nation’s highways. Mr. Curry also spoke about Chrysler and Ford. Both auto makers are going ahead with driver airbags in their 1990 models with passenger airbags shortly to follow. Mr. Curry spoke about state speed limits and how they may raise their current speed limit from 55 MPH to as much as 65 MPH if conditions are appropriate.
