Representative J.C. Watts Jr.(R-OK)REPUBLICAN CONFERENCE CHAIRMAN

talked about the Republican agenda for the 106th Congress. Among the topics he raised were tax reform, the environment, urban issues, and poverty. He said that any solutions to these problems must involve local governments and use community based programs. After his remarks he answered questions submitted from the audience.
