On the program "America and the Courts", the Georgetown University Law Center Barristers Council held the 1990 Bioethics Moot Court. A hypothetical case was argued by four teams of law students, which was similar to the Cruzan v. Missouri Department of Health case before the U.S. Supreme Court. In the Moot Court case, the high court is being asked to decide if the family of a woman in a persistent vegetative state has the right to remove the feeding tube that is keeping her alive. close
