The Institute for Justice held a news conference where speakers gave their report on Acting Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Bill Land Lee’s work. Clint Bolick said that Mr. Lee never received confirmation by the Senate and that he advanced an extreme ideological agenda. He stated that Mr. Lee used the resources of the civil rights division to pursue “racial preferences” in government contracting, employment and education.
