Author Stella Suberman discussed her book “The Jew Store,” published by Algonquin Books. The books examined the journey of the Jewish Suberman family from New York City to a small town in Tennessee during the 1920s. The family opened a dry goods store which resulted in anti-Semitism and racism from the small community. After her presentation, her book signing was shown. close
