Diana Furchgott-Roth and Christine Stolba talked about their book "Women’s Figures: An Illustrated Guide to the Economic Progress of Women in America", published by AEI Press. They focused on women’s treatment in the workplace and the statistics regarding fairness in wages. They examined how the statistics for pay between men and women are compared as a whole and do not take into account type of jobs, age, and hours works. They also discussed discrimination against women in high level corporate jobs. After their prepared remarks they answered questions from the audience. close
