President Clinton announced that unemployment figures had reached the lowest levels since 1970. He also stated his resolve to return Kosovar Albanians to their homes and said that there was no basis for detaining and prosecuting three U.S. soldiers captured at the Macedonian border. After his comments he answered questions from the audience. Afterwards administration officials spoke about humanitarian relief efforts in Yugoslavia. close
