DOD Spokesman Ken Bacon talked to reporters about the NATO mission against Serbian forces in Yugoslavia and humanitarian relief efforts for Kosovar refugees. He said that the air campaign had intensified and that Serbian ground forces had been attacked successfully. He also noted that 20,000 refugees would be relocated to the U.S. naval station at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Admiral Wilson and General Wald then showed photos and charts which detailed the operations and demonstrated the damage inflicted inside Yugoslavia. During the presentation they answered questions from reporters. close
