Captain Doubleday and General Wald talked to reporters about the NATO mission against Serbian forces in Yugoslavia and the refugee crisis in the region. They said that they had launched over 400 missions the previous day and had destroyed several targets including oil refineries and rail lines. General Wald used charts and photographs to illustrate the damage which had been done. They also said that the U.S. would build refugee camps in Albania rather than airlift them to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. During their presentation they answered questions from reporters. close
