Participants talked about the book Americanos: The Faces of Latino Culture. The book contained numerous photographs and poetry of Latinos. They focused on Latino culture in the U.S. and the definition of culture in society. They also talked about the military situation in Kosovo and the school shootings in Littleton, Colorado and how those conflicts arose because of differences in cultural backgrounds. After their discussion they took questions from the audience. close
