Correspondents Nicolas Kristoff and Cheryl WuDunn spoke about the human rights situation in China one year after the massacre in Tiananmen Square. They talked about the events leading up to the crackdown, the Chinese response to student protests, and the status of student leaders. Following their remarks, they answered questions from the audience.

They are the first husband and wife team to win simultaneous Pulitzer Prizes in journalism. They won the award for their reporting from Beijing the previous year.
